Become a student advocate
By joining ResolveU, you'll be part of the movement of students taking action all across the country to bring an end to this war.
You might not know how important college students are to achieving peace, so let us tell you: VERY IMPORTANT. You have the ability to energize, organize and mobilize people in a way that our youth-challenged friends might not. We need you. Plain and simple.
We have four, simple goals for our student activists:
- Signing Up: This is the first, most important step. Signing up for the ResolveU updates is how you make sure that you know about all of the student-specific activities that we have going on.
- Registering your chapter: This is how we'll connect you to other events going on in your area and let you know what other college groups have going on across the country. This one only applies to those of you who are part of campus groups that have been active on northern Uganda.
- Getting political: This is at the heart of who we are, and we want you to be a part of it. All it really means is that you keep doing what you're already doing, just make it more effective. We thought you'd like that.
- Organizing a meeting: Not just any meeting. A meeting with your Member of Congress. No pizza and breadsticks required. It's easier than you think.
