From December 14-24, we pause — as individuals and groups — in locations around the world to remember those who lost their lives during the LRA Christmas Massacres. We pray this year will be different and renew our resolve for peace.

Resolved to Remember

 

Join us for the second year of One Voice: Resolved to Remember. We invite you to make the choice to pause in the holiday hurry and be silent. Because over the course of 2 weeks in December 2008, 865 civilians were killed and 160 abducted by the LRA. In December 2009, 300 were killed and an additional 250 abducted. And the world had no idea until months after the fact.

This annual vigil between December 14 and December 24 is our way of recognizing the personhood of each life lost. And it’s our way of pledging to the survivors that we will not give up, that we will not forget.
