How It Ends gets media to pay attention to ignored crisis

At the start of the How It Ends lobby day this week in DC, Michael asked the 2,000 people gathered if any of them had read stories in their newspapers about the 135 people who had been abducted by the LRA the week before. No hands went up. While the media may not want to cover what's happening to innocent families in central Africa, it seems that they will pay attention when thousands of US citizens descend on DC to demand that their leaders do something to help.
