The deadline to sign the Final Peace Agreement (FPA) between the Ugandan government and LRA has reportedly been pushed back
a week from 28 March to 3 April. Apparently both the LRA negotiating
team and chief mediator Dr. Riek Machar asked for the delay. "The LRA
requested for more time to discuss with leadership in the bush on the
final text of the agreement," UPDF spokesman Chris Magezi said.
