Knock, Knock
The idea is simple:
taking our message of peace and multiplying it across 50 states; shifting power from DC offices to local communities.
The August congressional recess isn’t summer vacation for our politicians – it’s their chance to hear what’s on the minds of their constituents and it’s our chance to make sure their priorities reflect our concerns. And our message is clear:
- Failure is not an option for the Juba peace talks
- Children should not be soldiers
Let’s make sure every one of our members of Congress gets these messages loud and clear.
Who: Concerned citizens across the country
What: Meeting with their elected representatives to make sure they're doing all
they can for peace in Uganda and to put an end to the use of child soldiers
When: The week of August 13-17
Where: The district offices of your Senators and Representatives
Why: Because the political change needed for peace will only happen when we make it happen!
